My Gear Lift For My First Trip To Bali

My advice: Pack lighter than you think you should.

Below is a list of all the things I bought to bring along on my first trip to Bali. This was actually my first international trip alone, which was also where I went when I quit my job, put all my things in storage, broke my lease, and bought a one-way ticket out of Minnesota.

Most of the items I did end up bringing, but some I did not. They are all highlighted below with reasons I I chose to leave some behind.

If I had to give you one piece of advice, I would tell you to not over-pack. When deciding what to bring, I found myself planning for every little thing that could happen. What I think you SHOULD do instead is to plan for the things you will be doing regularly and purchase things in your destination area if you truly need them.

GoPro Hero 6 Black

I got this GoPro for a camera to do time lapse videos and in case I go into the water and want to capture some cool underwater moments. It isn't big at all, but does take some playing around with to get the settings to capture video worth sharing with others.
